Promises to Yourself
The most transformational pledges I made to myself were when I started my yoga instructor training at the House of Om in Bali. Yoga is a total way of living and honoring life, but first and foremost, honoring yourself. I share with you promises to yourself which you can make to radically start honoring yourself and your wellbeing. As you start your heart healing journey, I invite you to make these promises to yourself.
To love my body and appreciate my health
To surround myself with the right people
To live in a way that inspires others
To live with an attitude of gratitude
To allow life’s challenges to make me a better person
To let go of judgement and accept others as they are
To learn from every experience that life sends my way
To live a purposeful and meaningful life
To love and respect myself and others
To take full responsibility for my life
To take care of myself and the people I love
To trust my intuition and listen to my inner voice
To expect less from others and more from myself
To live in the present moment, not in the past, nor in the future
